Through browsing The Happy Newspaper's Instagram I found Headspace's. I've been aware of Headspace for a while - they're a meditation app focusing on wellbeing and positivity and provide guided meditation for beginners and pros. They also recently collaborated with Netflix to create 'Guide to Meditation' - an 8 part animated series aiming to educate people on meditation and walk them through guided sessions.
Although they're not directly related to news, I really like Headspace's ethos and aims. Their whole thing is about switching off and encouraging everyone to just take a moment for themselves. I've been really interested in meditation recently and I find it fascinating. As a society, we definitely need to be encouraged more to take a break from our work, social media, and the news.
Within their socials/ app/ animation they utilise a beautiful, simplistic design with engaging colours. It's not overbearing or in your face and all the lines are sloped and curved - it's like a hug for your eyes.
Whatever I do in the future I would like to tap in to this sort of style I think, as it's clearly been designed with relaxation and slowness in mind.
