Module Evaluation

This module has been really positive for me. I'm so glad that I chose the issue that I did, because I felt passionate and motivated the whole way through. This has encouraged me to really think before I write my own briefs in the future - if I choose something that I really care about then it can be really successful.

I've learnt that I really thrive when making use of the facilities at uni - implementing a routine and coming into the library early on in the day is vital for my productivity as I'm not very successful at staying motivated and on track at home.

I'm also really pleased that I chose to explore print (again). It's something that I get more and more passionate about each time I experiment with creating a publication. I would feel really proud putting Glad Print into my portfolio because it encapsulates print, branding, and an issue that I care about.

I've also felt really organised throughout this project. I always dread the idea of creating deadlines for myself, but in doing so I managed to keep on track and actually produce my final outcome physically and to a good standard, which is something I was set on doing from the beginning.

I also learnt that I really rely on blogging. In first year I overworked myself so the thought of blogging was always daunting, but within this project I used it to my advantage and blogging actually helped me to come up with a lot of my ideas.

The peer feedback that I've also been getting from my friends, peers, and tutors has also been amazingly helpful. Within this project I've learnt about the benefits to actually showing my work to others, and don't feel bad doing it anymore.
