- Pretorian is a good choice of typeface for the front cover, but perhaps not for the headings within the publication as it is so decorative. I need to find something that still fits the tone of voice, but is slightly more subtle. Beginning to think about this, I went back to look at one of the existing publications I referenced at the start of the project - Things You Know by Max Friedman and Jamil McGinnis. This publication utilises a number of beautiful typefaces that all work wonderfully in conjunction with one another. I think that type is one of my downfalls and is something that I wish to improve on - I am not very confident in my ability to pair typefaces together and am nervous to do so within the publication. However, being inspired by Things You Know, I will experiment with a range of different pairings to find the right one.
