Ideas so far

Modify a retro Jazz cover
- This can be done through collage, distortion etc.
- Could be really simplistic i.e. pixelate, crumple, or tear
- could be done digitally with added textures
- Pick an iconic cover, preferably Reid Miles, maybe Thelonious Monk
- Laurent de Wild made an intelligent cyber version of Thelonious Monk's Shuffle Boil - this could be the track

Francis Wolff's photography
- I have already gone to a jazz club and taken some photos inspired by Wolff on black and white film
- Once they are developed I plan to collage with them, crop, develop etc
- I will incorporate smaller details that link to the electronic elements such as repetition and Techno Textures

Hand Signals
- I plan to photograph some of the most used hand signals used in improvised jazz
- I can take this further by watching some live performances and using the order that they use

Cab Calloway
- It would be really interesting to draw my own version of KoKo the Clown since he is used to visually communicate legendary Jazz Performer Cab Calloway
- I could also look at the technical side of things by producing a my own gif / short animation of the character
- Linking back to the hand signals, the animation could be of KoKo the clown doing the hand signals

Brain Waves
- Apparently lots of interesting things happen to the brain when listening to jazz music
- More of an abstract design maybe, could try and visually communicate the brain waves
