Crit

- Process is really important. Try and mirror the processes that my chosen designers use to make the
zines.
- One process that I could use is definitely screen printing (Like Damien Tran and Kate Gibb).
If I did this, I could have multiple pages on one screen and the as well as the zines, print this screen
and leave it as a poster. This could look really nice.
- Another process is Risograph. This is a new process to me and looks very intriguing, however,
I think that it would be more justifiable to screen print as this links directly to my designers and
aims.
- Whatever process I choose, I should definitely use mis-registration when printing and create
layers and collage.
- A common theme is 'fragmentation'. This can be incorporated into the general production of my
zines by cutting the edges of corners off, slicing some pages to make them different sizes, having
inserts stick out at different lengths and cutting shapes out from pages.
- The final binding needs to be done with a lot more care than the tests
