Thoughts:
I'm really looking forward to looking through the G. F. Smith sample book to be able to fully experience their wide range of papers.
I have been to the G. F. Smith factory for a tour previously and it was a great insight into the production of paper as well as the endless opportunities and creativity within the company.
When looking through the sample book I hope to find some papers with a slightly thicker GSM that are sturdy and nice to hold.
Gareth explained the difference between uncoated paper and coated paper and it had made me consider which I should use - coated paper is more tactile and textured however they work better with one colour prints due to the fact that the ink sinks in. Coated paper is more smooth and the ink sits on the surface - so is much more clear and may be better to print my photographs on.
Despite this, I am really looking forward to seeing their range of colour plan papers - as I think that a really vivid colour would work well at emulating the toy lomo cameras.
Some options of bright colours for the front/ back cover: (I also know that there is an extremely vibrant colour called electric blood bit I can't find it on the website)
