- In response to the crit I played around with the type on the front cover some more. The hand-written type is really strong and works well at conveying the 'hand-done' feel within the pages of the zine. It was suggested to me that I also use this for the cover, however, I feel that it brings the tone down slightly. I had previously been using the typeface Calisto Bold and I liked this for its slightly retro feel and how the sans serif typeface played against the roughness of the publication. Although the hand-written title ties in with the rest of the zine, I like the separation that Calisto Bold creates between the front cover and the other pages.
